Home Care Advocates offers a wide array of home care services for people of all ages in Massachusetts.
When everyday tasks like dressing and grooming, meal preparation, or home maintenance become challenging due to advanced age, injury, or illness, our caregivers are here to help. Whether you need daily or weekly assistance, our caregivers can provide an individualized service that you can trust.
No two people are the same. Each situation is different. Our personalized service plans are tailored to match each client’s specific circumstances and needs. Our services include:
Individuals who live alone and are unable to go out due to their age or health are at risk of feeling lonely and socially isolated. Our companions are here to help. They offer lively conversation, assistance with personal care, recreational activities, and a listening ear when you need someone to talk to.
Our personal caregivers offer compassionate personal care assistance for those who are struggling with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). They offer assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming, oral care, meal preparation light housekeeping, and more.
Need constant assistance and support at home? With our live-in care services, clients can receive the care that they need – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A carefully selected live-in caregiver can live with you in your home, offering support with everyday tasks and being on-call at night.
Peace of Mind Visit
Worried about your senior loved one living alone? If they are still able to function independently and can complete their day-to-day tasks without the constant supervision of a caregiver, you can still arrange peace of mind visits. Our caregivers can check up on them regularly to see how they are doing.
As much as you want to be there for your elderly loved one 24/7, circumstances and other responsibilities may prevent you from doing so. If you need someone to watch over your loved one as they recover from illness, injury, or surgery, our caregivers are here to provide sitter assistance.
Caring for your elderly loved ones can bring you a sense of joy and accomplishment; however, it can take its toll too. Learn to recognize the signs of burnout (e.g., moodiness, lowered resistance to illness, sleeping difficulties, feelings of hopelessness, etc.) and ask for help when needed. We offer respite care that allows family caregivers to take a break while our caregivers take over caregiving duties.
Taking medications at the right time and with the right dose is highly important. While our caregivers aren’t qualified to administer medications, they can still provide timely reminders to make sure that clients are taking their medications as prescribed.
Light Housekeeping Assistance
A clean, well-organized home is important for one’s safety and overall health. Our caregivers can provide assistance with a broad range of housekeeping tasks, which include laundry and ironing, meal planning and preparation, running errands, throwing out the trash, vacuuming, and more.
Our services are non-medical in nature and are delivered by skilled, highly qualified personnel with years of experience in providing home care services.
